BioI love being busy and am always happy when I have some art project in the mill; wether it be a painting, a sketch or a mask. Life isn't a dress rehersal so I believe that you enjoy it while it lasts, I try to make sure I make my life full and interesting because when my time comes to leave this good earth I'd prefer not to look back and think to myself "my goodness I spent alot of time being bored".
I really enjoy being involved in the sci-fi/fantasy community as it gives me a chance to meet other people who share at least one of my intersts. I help run a sci-fi club in my local city which meets up once a month, I am also currently helping to orginise a convention for author Terry Pratchett. Unfortunately I got the convention organising bug when I helped organise the first Australian Discworld Convention which occured in Feb 2007 and signed on for a second term.
Family is important to me not just in the sense of my grandparent, parents and siblings but also in the way that many of my closer friends I view as family also. They may not be blood kin but they are usually kindred spirits and good people. I feel very lucky to have such good friends because they make life all that much better.
